Guess what arrived at my back door today. A brand new Jet 12"disc sander that I've been eyeing for quite awhile. This will be a welcome addition to my workshop. Compared to my 6" disc sander that had a cheap wobbly aluminum table with a not so accurate miter gage, I'll be in sanding heaven!
There is nothing wobbly on that one! I was surprised at how big it was when mine arrived. The wind out of the port is like a leaf blower. My Ryobi one always threw dust in my face as I sanded. This one leaves no trace of dust on the part / table. It all gets sucked up by the internal hampster wheel fan and shot out of the exhaust port. Your filter on the port will work perfect!
