If you darken your canopy, don't let it set in the sun or you will have a warped canopy.
Shoot my 4* is warped and it isnt tinted! Noticed the other day it is off to the right, looks really dorked too. If the plane survives to winter I may modify the fuse and make it look more like a real plane instead of the bubble top.

The CAP in my avatar has a warped canopy after setting in my car on one of those 100 degree days. I don't think is is available any more so I'll live with it.

I've used rit with success. I've also used the spray tints with success. You can also use the "candy" colors but like the spray tints need to have a VERY clean canopy to start and very, very, very light coats. Spray on the inside of you canopy for best results.

If you have scratches or spots on the outside of your canopy, sand with 1500 grit paper and give it a clear coat of paint. It will look like new again.
