Default RE: Phoenix Tiger Moth .40

Hi SJN,
Pleased to tell you I've maidened my electric version of Tiggie today.

After some initial teething problems (wire strutscomingoff, wrong size prop and power pack, CG etc, it all came togetherbeautifully in the end and I'm grinning from ear to ear now.

As you know, I converted IC to electric so I wasn't sure how Tiggie will take it. All up weight is 5lb 4oz. Less than the weight quoted by Phoenix. I can lose another 4oz when I change those glass fibre struts tobirchwood which I'll do next. In the name of equal sex, I've added a female and a male pilot. Don't want to be a MCP - too many of them are around ...haha.
Thanx for your help, particularly WRT undercarriages, control movements and CofG. I'll post some pics soon.
Cheers
