I agree on the wing loading and control surface area, but would include the rudder. Most military don't have much at all. Not knowing the specs, I'm shy of suggesting much other than there's 8 oz difference between the engines? The other thing, you were asking about the potential for crash damage to the ignition? It wouldn't surprise me at all if you have to replace the spark plug boot. Not a big deal, but I'd have one on hand in case you need it.
