2 cell LiFe is fine, but not Lipo. the voltage ratings in the servo specs are for the nominal voltage of the packs ie, a 6v NiCd. That pack comes hot off the charger around 7.2v, while the LiFe starts around 7.4v. That's close enough to not hurt anything.
