RE: Eagle 2 ARF & 4 Stroke Engine
Thank you for the reply and good information.
I understand all you're saying about the power needs of the Eagle 2.
The main reason I want to use the 4 stroke is that 2 stroke engines make me nervous when I'm close enough to tune them.
Since I've been getting flying instructions on an Eagle 2 that has a muffler on its 2 stroke .46, I think I might stand the high pitch sound long enough to tune it.
But, hoping for a more relaxing day of flying calls for me to try using a 4 stroke unless it would cause premature damage to the plane.
Also, if I get a large enough 4 stroke engine now that won't drastically over power the Eagle 2 I can transplant it into a plane that has higher power needs later on.
