What do other people you fly with do? surely they have the same weather/issues. How do you know the containers aren't "acid" free? Normally thats an issue for paper not sure about plastic coverings. I suspect now. Mildew and mold might be your biggest issue due to the humidity. A dessicant in with the stored wings would be pretty helpful.
