A little more work done. The cowl has been mounted. I made 6 mounting tabs out of 1/8th aircraft ply.4 of the tabs go into the fuse and get blind nuts. The other 2 tabs go into the cowl to help keep it aligned. After the cowl was mounted, I found thetop rear section of the cowl could be easily moved from side to side. I made up a former and glued it in place in the rear section. Now it doesn't have any side to side movement. Some filler work is needed to fill in the gap along the sides of the cowl. One thing that will need to be done is to sand away the seam line and screws on the top of the cowl and re add them on the center line.
