I'll give you my recommendation but I have never tried to fly the Ciervia. Some autogyros are very difficult to take off from the ground and it's better to hand launch but I don't if that's the case with the Ciervia. The 5 degrees head tilt may be correct for that gyro, however I always set everything at zero and then trim once it's flying. For ground launch I stand right in back and try to keep it straight into the wind using rudder. If it starts to veer to the left I would give it right rudder and some right rotor tilt. Also keep pressure on the tail with up elevator until the rotor looks like its getting up to speed and then let off on elevator.
