RE: Need info on a replacement motor
yeah, now that I look at it, you are right, guver.. it is lower KV. Dayaks, larger prop, eh? If it works, that would be fine. I have plenty of props around so I can easily swap them out and see if it helps. The motor and the ESC were not even warm when finished today so the existing combination can probably handle a little more wattage.
The motor mount is different than the "standard" mount so I would have to fabricate a mount that would work with a different motor. I'll try the prop and see if that makes a difference.
