Need info on a replacement motor

My Feedback: (1)
I have a motor with the following numbers: 30-20-1350KV Brushless
I need one that has more power. This one works but it just does not perform as I would like it to. I want one that will pull the plane around better. Not something that will overpower it, but is an increase in power for use with the same ESC that came with it, which is an 18 amp ESC.
Any suggestions?

Would need to know prop size and lipo setup (2S or 3S) like guver hit on.
Conversely you could use "ecalc". Just google "ecalc prop". It's a nifty calculator where you can put in your batteries, esc, motor and prop size. You can even spec specific motors and certain props. Checking the amps vs reality is always suggested

You may find increasing the prop diameter is all you need to do if the motor is under utilized.

I am not sure of any of the above.
BUT...

My impression when flying it today was that it was really under powered. I can change to a higher capacity battery pack and switch out the ESC if necessary, but I would like to keep the same ESC.
I have a Hacker A20-20L 1022kv that is brand new sitting around. Is this an appropriate replacement?

It does use a flimsy 9x5 prop and if memory serves me I have heard reports of users simply changing to 9x5 E prop it makes quite a bit of difference. I also think the esc and motor can take the extra current. One thing I don't have is the current measurement on mine or anyone elses.
I also have 2 different entries for esc rating. 30 and 18 amp.

Instead of a current measurement, you could always use the good old finger test - is the motor hot? If it's only a little warm it can likely handle a bigger prop.
The hacker has a lower KV. It will spin the prop slower at the same voltage.

yeah, now that I look at it, you are right, guver.. it is lower KV. Dayaks, larger prop, eh? If it works, that would be fine. I have plenty of props around so I can easily swap them out and see if it helps. The motor and the ESC were not even warm when finished today so the existing combination can probably handle a little more wattage.
The motor mount is different than the "standard" mount so I would have to fabricate a mount that would work with a different motor. I'll try the prop and see if that makes a difference.

If the motor and esc were cool (and you were probably maxxing it out a lot since you say it is "slow or underpowered") then perhaps a apc 9x6 would be nice for the stock stuff. I'm going to do a calc and post since I need the practise.
It looks like it is pulling too much current , but putting a watt-meter on it may tell otherwise. I'm guessing that even with an average battery it will be less than 30 amps on the ground.

Well, I felt that it was what it was, meaning that it powered with the rather underpowered motor. I have a stock Seawind EP that I flew off grass and it was substantially more reactive. When it flew, it was aerobatic, responsive, and clearly more flyable. The Corvalis was a disappointment. I expected more out of it. So, I don't think it was anything like maxed out.
It took full throttle and a long takeoff run to get it airborne, Once there, I reduced the throttle to about 3/4 and flew it like that. Once properly trimmed, it did not have the response I expected when I pushed the throttle to full.
This is my basis to want to change out the motor. But, did not think about changing the prop. That's worth a check.
On a different tangent, I have a FRIO 12, 1200KV sitting here too. I am trying to find the specs on this motor. The only problem with this is that I need to fabricate a new mount.
Yeah, I am looking at every aspect of making this fly better, mainly because I believe it has potential, and with the proper power up front, I think it will be a fun flying plane.
