ive seen 1:1 cars painted with plastic dip.
Apparently it can go on...and you dont have to mask. just peel it off the windows and lights before it fully dries.
after a day, its solid enough you can drive the car threw a car wash. and rocks and such wont chip it either.......but at the same time, if you start in a corner you can peel the whole dang thing off. And it wont damage the paint. So you can change the color, and go back to you stock color down the road.

Almost tempting to try it on a lexan body. The plastic dip stays flexable, so it might work.

I like the 2 pics below. granted, they are hardbodies, but I like the colors used. I actually think I have a tamiya High lift light bar as well!
