Gentlemen,
I ran across this thread in a search for any scale Spartan Aircraft Co model Kits. I am a member of a new AMA club in WA state and we picked up a '57 Spartan trailer for our clubhouse. I was curious about the Aircraft they had produced in OK as I couldn't recall ever having seen one. I was desiring a model at first glimpse; gorgeous and rare. Any recent news on Kits? And, Tom, have you got started on your 1/4 project?

I got tired of waiting for the Bates plans, and my attentions became diverted to another project.
My friend, Glenn, is building a Bates Spartan, though. He has it framed, and almost ready to glass.
