My Feedback: (24)
I have sent requests to Great Planes on their website where they ask "what plane would you like us to make" several times over and over for a few years now asking them to make a Spartan Executive. It has fallen on deaf ears.
However, I am thrilled to learn that Jamara has now produced one!

As plans are hard to come by, I'm surprised that an ARF will be available.
Does anyone know who will carry this in the States, and when it will be available ?

Thanks, Tom.
As you can see, I've been collecting documentation on the Executive. I plan to build a 1/4 scale version.
When you posted this ARF, I thought it may be worthwhile to pick one up. Since it's not going to be available in the States, I'll probably pass.

Gentlemen,
I ran across this thread in a search for any scale Spartan Aircraft Co model Kits. I am a member of a new AMA club in WA state and we picked up a '57 Spartan trailer for our clubhouse. I was curious about the Aircraft they had produced in OK as I couldn't recall ever having seen one. I was desiring a model at first glimpse; gorgeous and rare. Any recent news on Kits? And, Tom, have you got started on your 1/4 project?
Sincerely
Steve Canter

My friend, Glenn, is building a Bates Spartan, though. He has it framed, and almost ready to glass. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1439890

Thanks for the replies. I ran across Glenn's build thread yesterday after I posted and kept looking for Spartan topics. It's pretty inspiring to see someone taking scale modeling to a level most of us don't have the imagination to even dream about. I feel very privileged just to have virtual access to his project and helpful forums like this.

Steve
