Chris, I debated with myself wheather or not to use the flat wires supplied in the kit, but in the end I went with what more appealed to me. If this were going to be a true "scale" build I would have went with the flatter wire. I literally have hundreds of hours into this build and I probably have the same number of hours of debating and decision making that went on in my head to get to where I am now... If at a later dater I want to make a more true to scale flying wire I can easily swap them out.
