Default Electric Boating for the absolute beginner

Hello forum.

I'm designing a very inexpensive RC boat motor for use in a wide range of different floating items. I'm not looking for speed demon, but an slow cruzer. I've figured out just about everything except for how to mount the prop shaft to the motor shaft. I'm using a 9V hobby motor from radio shack, which has a 2.3mm output shaft. Because I know nothing about electric RC boats, I'm confused as to what I can use to attach my prop to the motor shaft. I understand the design requirements, but not which parts can go with others.

Currently I know that I'll need the following:
Propeller - nothing big, maybe 33/34mm

prop shaft - this is the tough part, I've come to the understanding that there many to choose from

</a>
stuffing tube - same as above

motor shaft connector -

SO, am I even in the ball park?
