Yes we have. As a matter of fact the Corsair in the video has the engine mounted about 15 degrees from vertical so the muffler stays mostly hidden. Remember the point of this engine is to bring gas/petrol economy to the glow engine world and we did this as economically and as reliably as possible using existing technology, i.e. tank position, etc. If you take care to aline the tank with the center of the carburetor (or as close as possible) the engine doesn't care what direction it faces. Use the included fuel tubing, filters and clunks and you are sure to have success.
