Hello, I flew the plane again last weekend and the spar is bending more. I went to the local metal supply house during the week and picked up a piece of 6061-T6 aluminum tube. It is even blue anodized so it looks good. Overall OD was 1.005---till .010" smaller but I think it will be ok. It's also thicker than original. Was about .040" and new tube is .060"---Picked up some 7/8" hardwood dowel to fill in the ends to mimic the original and glued a 7" piece in the middle.
Hopefully the wing will blow apart before the spar bends again.......
