RE: Tamiya Wild One Build/Review
I haven't driven the Wild One much yet since finishing the build because I bought it to run with my son, who will be getting the Fast Attack Vehicle tomorrow morning for Christmas. I didn't want to spoil the surprise... I think we'll probably be running them quite a bit in the coming weeks, but I'm not sure that I'll be doing much bashing. Not that it might not be capable, but I just want to run it around and race with my son. Maybe we'll set up some jumps and stuff.
As I remember, we were pretty hard on our RCs as kids. Not necessarily "bashing" by today's standards, but definitely banged them up pretty good. I think that my Wild One stood up to the abuse pretty well except for the items I mentioned previously (drive shafts and speed control), both of which they have addressed and improved. I think it ought to be reasonably tough... we'll see.
