When I get around to running mine I intend to use the Evolution synthetic. Will be interested to see if the break-in 'goo' is the same as the other oils you guys have been using.
I'm running Redline full synthetic and after 18 tanks the black goo has not gone away.

Has the amount of goo diminished very much with synthetic? I will try the Stihl Ultra on my next gallon of gas.

It has diminished a little but still creates a mess. Iwill be switching to STIHL as well. I don't think that will help though. Ithink the goo is due to the high oil content.
