Hello all. I purchased a nylon spinner with aluminum backplate. The specs say "Drilled for 1/4" (6mm) shaft with drill guides for 5/16" (8mm). The problem is the hole is to large for my 1/4" shaft on my airplane! its way to sloppy. To me i think its drilled out for the 5/16 shaft.

Here are the measurements

spinner backplate .312"

my engine shaft (1/4-28 threads) - 0.248

1/4" = 0.25"
5/16" = 0.3125

So what gives here? I ordered a second spinner and it came to me the same way? is the spinner suppose to be this loose?
