is it possible that this sim isn't sold in the us?
i've spent lots of cash getting the RealFlight plus addons over here just to sell it again. couldn't hold up to the Reflex.

had the same problem. i was running the radio with a psu attached instead of the batteries.
very dodgy.
later i found out that by removing the tx cristal, the radio
consumes close to no power. i fly for ages on one accu load.
