Thanks again Vince. All good info. Ifly SPAcontests but, haven't joined the org. yet. Guess I need to do that. We have a group of folks in our club who fly SPA but, nobody Iknow flys the Intruder. I need post a message on our web site and see what Ican find.
Iusually fly IMACwith a 50cc bird but, I also like the SPAstyle. This is my second Intruder. I knoced the vertical off the old one via ceiling fan and decided to start new rather than repair. That airframe was old and needed recovering any way. I may get the urge one day to repair and recover it to have a back-up. It was given to me and I put all of the electics in it with a new canopy and fuel tank and it flew very well. I used an OS .61FX on the old one but, it was mounted inverted. Folks said it would give me problems mounted that way but, it worked very well for me. Isold the OS and bought the .91 FS because Ireally like the way they sound and perform. However, I wish Ihad kept the OS. It was in great condition and ran like a top.
Ineed to investigate the side mount. It seems to provide some advantages over inverted or normal.
