I think the ts-53 servos should be fine on everything as long as you set up the linkages to get maximum servo throw on the recommended high rates. I would feel better about them on six volts if it was my plane. If you don't mind Chinese servos there are a few out there that have proven to be reliable for the same price and will handle the cubs surfaces without breaking a sweat.
