Default RE: world models intruder

RJ, heres what you should do. Back in the day, when this model first came out, lot of us jumped on it. There is a lot of info on the stab incidence, here on RCU. On this forum, at the top, search subject space, type in Intruder, Stab Incidence. Also, use other search words. A lot of info will come up. I epoxied the stabs in, and did not fly it first. I am sure that nose weight will be different from one engine to another. IMHO, just eye it up, look straight, OK, fly it. A few clicks of up or down on the elevator can determine where to set it after flying it. I realize some engineer types will cringe at the "eye it up, fly it", we are not going to the moon here.

Below was posted back in 2007, by Mike Robinson, stab discussion after initial flights. Lot of info on here, just search around.

RE: World A-6 Intruder
Intruder I got to make the first trim flights on my Intruder yesterday (Monday 9th). The weather... up elevator as mentioned before. Got out the allen wrench and adjusted more down incidence into the horizontal stab and moved my trim tabs back to neutral - No up elevator showing. Flight three let me know real quick that the horizontal stab adjustment was the right thing to do.
