Scott totally willing to interface my app to yours, but I think we have a disagreement on the HOW, I'd like to put it together the way it works with our D7/D8 scoring app with your desktop app as an initial prototype (less work on the device side) and then we can talk about what works better in the context of a contest. In the beta test at a very remote site with the old way I was doing things (100% utilizing the amazon cloud) the limited cell data coverage made response times too slow for the desktop app to work right, moving to everything hosted on the desktop PC with a cheap wifi router at the contest solves that problem and makes use of the scoring app very convenient.
Also, I switched from a button-based scoring to a simple gesture scoring method (swipe down for -1/-.5, up/left for +1/+0.5, swipe right for next maneuver, I don't recall what NO was but that's supported as well) with the main screen showing the aresti for the maneuver and the maneuver is spoken to you (optionally) as well as the updated score as you make score changes.
