Maybe!
Here's a screen capture of a POC app to record scores.
Click - or + to change the score by 0.5.
Hold the - to record 0
Hold the + to record 10 (you start at 10 and subtract from there...holding will reset)
Click Previous or Next to change the maneuver.
The app will speak the description (with appropriate pauses on those long maneuvers) with amazing sound quality. So with ear buds and both thumbs on the screen, you never have to take your eyes off the airplane. The app also reads the score just entered as you advance to the next. This data will be downloadable to MasterScore via Bluetooth.
So who has a Windows 8 phone?

I seem to remember Peter Vogel in District 7 making an app like that for the iPhone. I think he tried it out at one of the Northern contests. Not sure how it went, but it sounded interesting!

Yep.
Scott totally willing to interface my app to yours, but I think we have a disagreement on the HOW, I'd like to put it together the way it works with our D7/D8 scoring app with your desktop app as an initial prototype (less work on the device side) and then we can talk about what works better in the context of a contest. In the beta test at a very remote site with the old way I was doing things (100% utilizing the amazon cloud) the limited cell data coverage made response times too slow for the desktop app to work right, moving to everything hosted on the desktop PC with a cheap wifi router at the contest solves that problem and makes use of the scoring app very convenient.
Also, I switched from a button-based scoring to a simple gesture scoring method (swipe down for -1/-.5, up/left for +1/+0.5, swipe right for next maneuver, I don't recall what NO was but that's supported as well) with the main screen showing the aresti for the maneuver and the maneuver is spoken to you (optionally) as well as the updated score as you make score changes.

Not in the store yet, I have a few more details to work through...important stuff like an app name and icon art...ugh!
(If you have a Windows Phone dev license, I can send you the xap and it can be side loaded)
Pattern Judge, Pattern Coach, "I can't say Immelmann",...??? (I'm sure Keith can come up with a creative name...let's hear it! BTW - you can hit home, then back and you'll be right where you left off so no worries)
For FAI, what would work best?
1/2 point deduction per tap then apply rounding?
Whole point deduction only?
If rounding, should it round up, down, to odd or to even?
I'm thinking 1/2 point taps and round to odd for the simple reason 9.5 should not round up to 10.
8.5 - 9.5 -> 9
6.5 - 7.5 -> 7

I think its customary to round down, but I would keep it simple and just do whole point deductions for FAI and let the judge keep track of the half points in his/her head
