Default RE: Where are the Pre School Beginners?

ROTF!!!!!!!!!

Hi sweetie!!!

Hey everyone, I'd like to introduce the future mrs me !

It's true, I bought her a plane for her birthday, it's kind of difficult to train her though as we currently live 1600 miles apart.

I have dropped a TON of information on her in a very short time, she's done well to remember most of the names of my planes let alone learning the "CODE" we all speak.

The "FBI boxes that say JR" are of course radio boxes. I threw her a real fast ball last summer when I took the long drive to Minnesota with one of my Jets and a car full of accessories.

Previous to my arrival, I had a wet start with my turbine burning some of the back end.
Now let me tell you what kind of woman I have here.

She allowed me to put all my RC stuff in the LIVING ROOM. Not only that, but when I mixed epoxy to do some repairs she didn't beat me. I think the beating was close when I repainted the back end in her living room though LOL!!!!!

I'll be back there in a months time, hopefully we can get her some stick time

We'll have her doing mach 2 in no time with a turbine now

With limited knowledge in the hobby so far, and a flair for fun, I've never seen someone so enthusiastic about this hobby as her, when I took her to the flying field in Owatonna Minnesota last year, her eyes lit up like a small child on christmas morning. She literally had me wanting to fly more than ever, the enthusiasm rubs off something fierce.

She can remember the names of most of my planes fairly well, but she somehow neglected to mention the name of her plane! She has a Hitec "Sky Scooter Pro" electric. She's had some stick time but it's been quite limited. Hopefully the weather will be good in october and she'll be able to fly it on her own.

I know modellers are some of the friendliest people going, so everyone please wish her a big welcome and help out here

Welcome to the forum sweetie!
