Our closest thing to a "License" would have to be the oddly named "Turbine Waiver" , due to in fact having to demonstrate skills with Turbine powered Model Aircraft to pass among other things a flight test .

Lets ALL join hands and pray that the "Big Truck Guys" don't band together to require such tests for ALL of RC model aircraft . In their self important views , only THEY would have the knowledge of who should "pass" or "fail" , and that will be the final stranglehold on a once happily unregulated , or more properly spoken , SELF regulated , hobby that needs NO such "License" , "Regulation" , or whatever the "Big Truck Guys" wanna call it .

Some people just ain't happy till they're tellin OTHER people how THEY should live .
