since those cards are sent out by a 3rd party, there is a bit more outlay involved that just the postage mentioned. i promise ya, the third party is not doing the work for just the cost of postage.
You bet. Even more so is that the AMA has paid employees. Of course why would they want to do the work, if they can pass it on to someone else outside the organization. Fortunately I'm a realist and already am well informed of how non-profits and the like operate in reality. Efficiency is not the major goal. Seems a very simple computer system (one would think they would have this) would easily take care of these tasks with a small amount of operator effort, as well as avoiding redundancies.
