Good plugs, but awful big. Maybe take a look at the EC3 versions. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...?strSearch=ec3

Love them, easy to solder, no worries of deforming the housings like you can on a Deans if you are a little slow on the soldering.
Also like that unlike the Deans and it's copies, no worries of the tab on the terminals bending and causing a short.


Over on the electric airplane side those Tamiya plugs were the first thing to get tossed. As you found, use em a couple of times and you get a sloppy fit, poor connections, and such.
At least for the tankers, if your plug fails, your tank stops. On a plane, there's a long long fall before they stop. [X(]
