I did start looking into some of the other connectors like the EC3 & XT60 after posting earlier, & they both look good.

The HXT plug covers are probably a bit longer than the EC3, but they didn't look any longer than what those huge Tamiya style plugs look in comparison. I don't believe the length of the plug will matter too much to me since there is plenty of room inside all my tanks for even the longer plugs like the Tamiya, but you have a good point Glacier Girl, that using the smaller plug is probably a better way to go anyway, & because they have a lot of support where people say they work really well too.

Dan, on HK there are quite a lot of opinions concerning the XT60 plugs, & I believe all are just about good, so I doubt getting them would be a mistake. They look like really nice "beefy" connectors too.

However, I think I might be leaning towards going with the EC3 connectors right now, as they get really great reviews themselves, & are slightly smaller & less expensive than the XT60 connectors.
