Thanks CK1 I always forget to tell people about the NKG CM6............The needles you have will be fine for the start up after timing set. I started my engine with 32:1 oil gas mix........the high oil mix gives plenty lube to all parts and the high oil ratio help in getting rid of the heat of a new engine.

I tweaked the needles and had a great high end scream no sag at high rpm and a good idle...............ran her 1/4 tank shut down did a heat cycle(let her cool off) hour later fired her back up.....4 flips total and checked her with a RPM meter.....7500rpm top 2100rpm idle. My temp gage had her at 171F head temp idle, and 197F full throttle. It was a cool day 42degrees........... She did not pass her range check so flight was put off for now. I pulled the plug after 1/2 tank run, and the plug reads still on the rich side............black plug....I'll leave her their for now and after a few tanks in the air I'll start leaning her out a little at a time until the plug gets more brown than black.
