I've seen this too, and can't believe the "out of print" thing. If the people involved don't care about sales, then they should have someone do a PDF version and just give it away. If they DO care, they should still have someone do a PDF version, and let us buy and download it online. They might be surprised how much they could profit.
Information is everything to us today, and I agree that something this "classic" shouldn't just fade away.
