RE: "Building a Pattern Plane"
Hmmm I have the 4th edition I THINK, (whatever the last one was) and it deals with an LA-1, a Typhoon 2+2 and a prophecy.
But in general, all the techniques are the same today. Well, there is some new stuff around, but in general if you are building a glass/foam or even all wood pattern plane, this book kicks butt.
But of course the best way to learn is by DOING. Because you'll learn more from building your first pattern plane than you will from 10 books like this. But this book is EXCELLENT to have around for the first time pattern plane builder. I highly recommend it, IF you can get one.

RE: "Building a Pattern Plane"
Hello,
This book is very good as reference or first time builder. I have heard good critics about it. The main problem is that we can not find it!
Is it published? If not, does anybody have a spare copy to give it away?

RE:
Strong resurrection of an old thread.
Since it's been almost 8 years since the OP brought up the fact that it had been out of print, wonder if the copyright has expired and it can be made public by way of PDF? Sounds like an interesting book and would sure like to have a copy.
