MOST flying clubs in the US are AMA chartered clubs, and require membership in the AMA
(there is also an AMA forum right here at RCU. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/forumid_74/tt.htm )
on the AMA website is a club finder.. you may find clubs even closer
