Default RE: Which chinese factories make various brushless motor brands?

siberianhusky: how come the hackers have a much higher amp rating than most of the cheapies you are claiming are the same! Big difference between 200w and 85w if you are claiming they are the same!
siberianhusky: I am very confused indeed about what you state; Please tell us precisely where you got the figures of 200W and 85W, and for which particular motors.
I quickly looked at a few motors, and obtained the following data (assuming you might think of SK3 as a "cheapie" ):
http://www.hacker-motor-shop.com/e-v...&t=3&c=16&p=16
http://www.aeroshack.co.uk/shop/gbu0...kerMotors.html

Hacker A20-20 L EVO -max 19A, max 200W; Turnigy SK3 2830-1020kv, 20T -max 18A, max 168W
Hacker A30-28 S V2 -max 25A, max 250W; Turnigy SK3 3530-1150kv, 28T -max 24A, max 330W
Hacker A30-12 L V2 -max37A, max 500W; Turnigy SK3 3542-800kv, 12T -max 42A, max 625W,
Hacker A30-10 XL V2 -max 45A, max 600W; Turnigy SK3 3548-840kv, 10T -max 50A, max 750W

As you can see very clearly indeed, there is very little difference between the equivalent same-size Hacker and SK3 motors. In general, the SK3 motors are actually rated for larger current and power, compared to Hacker. So it appears to be completely opposite to what you suggested..

the cheapies you are claiming are the same
Worth noting I am not talking anywhere about so-called "cheapie" motors -we might typically regard EMP XYH -types, standard Turnigy, Emax, Suppo, Mystery, as "cheapie motors".
There is nothing "cheapie" about E-F Torque, Z-Hyperion, LiPolice, Shulman Aviation FURY motors ...
Fact is: All these motors are made in the same large OEM factory, side-by-side with Hacker and all the other brands, and all of them are just re-branded with different external colours andstickers ...

... not cutting and pasting crap from webpages!
So I wonder, siberianhusky: Why are you quoting "200w and 85w" -and where did this info come from ...?
