Default RE: Which chinese factories make various brushless motor brands?

ORIGINAL: siberianhusky
Common-Sense-RC Product line "... these motors ... are built to our specs by by the same manufacturer that produces them for some of the largest companies in the hobby ..."
You picked up on Common-Sense-RC (CSRC) motors, and suggested they might have different specs from other OEM motors produced by the Sunray company, because CSRC state ".. built to our specs ..". I spent a few mins looking at specs of CSRC E-series motors - http://www.commonsenserc.com/page.php?page=ezmatch.html -and managed to get weights /dimensions from 1 or 2 other sites. The table below shows how they match with other Sunray-produced OEM motors:

28mm external diam motors
CSRC E5-M-11, 41g, Kv 900=Hyperion Z2209 32T, 910Kv =SONIC ELECTRIC SE-2809-910, 32T=Pilotage Nova Line DT2209/32-910, 32T

CSRC E5-M-14, 41g, Kv 1200=Hacker A20-26 M EVO, Kv1130=Torque 26T/1135=Turnigy SK3 2826-1130kv, 26T=HYPERION Z2209-26T 1120 KV

CSRC E5-L-8, 56g, Kv 800=LiPolice / Foxy 2213/24T-880KV=Infinite A2213-862, 24T=HYPERION Z2213-24T 850 KV

CSRC E5-L-10, 56g, Kv 1000=Hacker A20-20 L-EVO, Kv1022=Torque 20T/1030=Turnigy SK3 2830-1020kv, 20T=HYPERION Z2213-20T 1025 KV

37mm external diam motors
CSRC E8-S-10, 76g, 1000KV=Torque 2830T/1095, Kv 1095, 30T=APACHE APS30-30T 1070 kV=Pilotage Nova Line DT3007/30, 30T, Kv1050

CSRC E8-S-12, 76g, 1300KV=Turnigy 3530-1340kv, 24T

CSRC E10-12, 111g, Kv 1200 =Turnigy SK3 3536-1200kv, 14T=LiPolice / Foxy3014/14T 1132KV, 111g =HYPERION Z3013-14T 1085 KV

CSRC E25-12, 160g, Kv 1200=Turnigy SK3 3542-1250kv, 8T

As yousee, the CSRC motors match up very well indeed, with the specs of other OEM motors produced by Sunray Tech.
So, although CSRC themselves state that their E-series motors were "built to their own specs"-actually, most of the CSRC motors have specs which are the same as for matching Hacker / Z-Hyperion / Torque / Nova Line / SK3 motors. In other words, most of theCSRC motorsare simply re-branded standard size Sunray motors.

Pics showa CSRCE5,E8andalso a CSRC"E-46"-size motor (i.e. equivalent to a 46 IC engine). Noticehowthe packaging is exactly thesame asfor Hacker /BMISpitzmotors, and for e.g. E-F Airboss ESC's-this seems to be a characteristic and almost diagnosticfeature of a Sunray Tech OEM product.
Also notice how the front housing of CSRC motors is identical to Foxy motors;-see previous post #50
