I have never bought anything but name brand equipment and have had excellent luck spending the extra money. However in no way would I try and talk you out of buying anything you personally want. I would howeverlike to pass on some advice from my Dad who said : "remember, it;s always the pioneers who end up with arrows stuck in their butt".
