Default RE: Extreme Flight Vanquish 2m Motor !!!

Gens Ace motors are made in the Sunray Technology factory -the same factory that makes:Hacker, Torque, Z-Hyperion motors;and LiPolice,Apache Turnigy SK3, OK Hobby Infinite, Shulman Aviation FURY, motors etc etc,
For this Gens ACE Mars-BL5943-215KV,see: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=11433501
-It has a weight of 438g, and has a 5020 stator - http://www.gensace.com/Gens-ace-Mars...V-Mars-BL90A-1

Most F3A motors have weight 550g to >600g,and most have a ~5030 stator (some have 5330 stator-e.g. Himax, Dualsky, if I remember)

I do not think this particular Gens Ace 5943 motor will have the required power for an F3A 2m plane.
The Gens ACE -Mars 5953-225KV -is 590g,has a 5030 stator;will have a better power level. It is similar to the HackerA60-S type motors (except the Gens Ace is a 14 pole motor, whereas the Hacker is 28 pole).

Other F3A motors made by the Sunray Tech factory -in addition to e.g. Hacker Q60-7M F3A, are:
Torque F3A "Silver Bullet", 580g, Kv 220, 7T, 28 pole
Shulman Aviation FURY 60/67-230 "F3A", 590g, Kv 230, 28 pole
(these 2 motors have identical appearance -just slightly different Kv's)
and also:
LiPolice LPA-F3A-5030-210KV, 580g, Kv 210, 7T, 28 pole
OK Hobby Infinite A5030-210 (For F3A), 580g, Kv 210, 7T, 28 pole,
Mega Power TAURUS MPA5030-210KV (F3A), 580g, Kv 210, 7T, 28 pole
(these 3 motors are completely identical -just different external colours-will be the same internally as Torque and Shulman)
and also:
Turnigy F3A SK3 Competition Series 28 Pole Outrunner, Kv 240(will also be similar internally to the others ...)

All these motors are made together, in the Sunray Tech factory -they just have different cosmetic external appearance...
They also make the Apache X60 Acro-Competition motors, which look identical to Torque and Shulman, but are 20 pole motors.

Hope this helps.</p>
