I am building a 1/6 WWI BASU kit and am getting close to covering. I am looking for a prop that looks like it belongs on a WWI airplane. Lots to choose from in the larger scales, but not in the 1/6 scale 11 - 12 inch range. I have taken a few props and rounded out the tips, in an attempt to make them look a bit more scale. I have tried not to change the overall shape or contour. They balance fine, and I plan to stain them, urathane and give them a try.

Will I create any major problems? Vibration or strength issues? Performance degradation?
