Default RE: Which chinese factories make various brushless motor brands?

ORIGINAL: rceccleston Thank you Dr Motor , this is a great thread
Thanks for this

... and an eye opener to the world of branding.
YES ...! I had absolutely NO IDEA that one factory in China might make all these different brands ...
-Hacker, Torque, Z-Hyperion;and Pelikan Foxy, LiPolice, OK Hobby Infinite, Shulman Aviation FURY, Gens Ace, Common-Sense-RC, Viper VA, Apache, Pilotage Nova-Line, MegaPower Taurus, Lipotech, Sonic Electric, BMI Models "Spitz" motors, Precision Aerobatics Thrust motors, Boost motors (Robotbirds), JP E-Pro motors; ELE motors (now discontinued)
AND: Turnigy SK3 motors
AND O.S. motors, Futaba motors
And Losi, Orion andHacker car motors
And "Turnigy Trackstar" carmotors
And of course: All the ESC's for most of these brands ...
And: Quite a large number of different HobbyKing ESC's e.g. Turnigy dlux ...

It is really quite amazing ...

Short answer -I don't know.
I have tried to find out, but so far, no luck. Perhaps someone reading this thread knows, and will tell us. Please.
The Rotomax motors look like a very good range, and goodquality ...

-We DO know that the GSModels factory (i.e. ZhuHai GS Model Accessories Mfg)
http://www.gsmodels.com/en/products0...me=CA%20series
make the Turnigy CA motors CA80-80 and CA120-70 -as you can see

However, at present we do not know which factory makes the Rotomax motors.

PS: We can see from the GSModels website that they make a large variety of brushless motors; but I do not obviously see the CL, D and F series motors being soldby any major retailer that I can think of ...
