As far as I can tell, the oleo struts were intended to be held into the wing blocks with a couple of nylon landing gear straps and screws. I suppose if a strut were bent, or malfunctioning for some reason, it would be nice to be able to remove it easily for repair, or replacement.
So, do you think that the nylon straps and screws will be sufficient?.
In other ARF, like ESM Stuka (with very similar strut and booth) i glued everything. Much firm and stronger.
