ORIGINAL: Dr Motor, you have mentioned that Sunray Technology also make: Hacker X-Pro, Hyperion Titan, Apache, Pilotage Nova-Line andLiPolice ESC's -What about those ESC's ? You have not mentioned these brands of ESC's much so far ... -You have mostly mentioned the Sunray brands like Airboss; Common-Sense-RC; Sonic Electric; Gens Ace-so far ...

Yes, this is a question that needs answering. So let us look at the programming for a Hacker X-Pro ESC.
-For a comparison with this, I showed in previous post #55, the programming order for Airboss ESC's and the whole group of ESC's that have identical programming to Airboss -see
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=11459980

Here is the programming order for a HACKER X-Pro ESC:
http://www.hacker-motor.com/daten/an...Pro-Manuel.pdf
( It states: Each time you enter the programming mode you are allowed to make one change and then you will automatically exit the programming mode. To change more than one parameter you will have to re-enter the programming mode each time)
(-this is a bit primitive ...!)
CAN PROGRAM:
1 Brake on or off
2 Battery type
3 Low Voltage Cut-off (LVC)
4 Soft start (Acceleration)
5 Timing (advance timing)
6 Switching Frequency
7 Rotation reverse
8 Active RPM Control (Heli Governor mode)
-You can see very easily that programming of the Hacker X-Pro ESC is very similar ( -there are someminor differences)to E-F Airboss ESC programming. Positions 1 & 2 are the same in both. But in position 3, the Hacker has Low Voltage Cut-off (instead of "Rotation reverse" like in the Airboss). Both have the Soft start -Acceleration setting in position 4.
And the Hacker has Timing and Switching Frequency in positions 5 & 6, instead of positions 6 & 7 like the Airboss ESC.
The Hacker has Rotation reverse in position 7 (-whereas the Airboss had this in position 3),
Also the Hacker has no Restore Factory Default Setting setting -so it has Active RPM Control in postion 8 (the Hacker only has 8 program settings).

Hyperion Titan, Apache and Pilotage Nova-Line ESC's have
IDENTICAL programming parameters and order to the Hacker X-Pro ESC's.
LiPolice ESC's have almost identical programming to Hacker, except they have the "Restore Factory Default " setting in position 8 (like Airboss), and then they have Active RPM Control in position 9 -see:
http://www.der-schweighofer.at/public/files/50095.pdf

There are NO other brands of ESCs (-like ZTW, HobbyWing, HiFei etc) that have the same programming order as Hacker X-Pro, Hyperion Titan, Apache, Pilotage Nova-Line, and LiPolice ESC's.
The extremely great similarity between the programming order of these ESC's,and the programming order of Airboss; Common-Sense-RC; Sonic Electric; Gens Ace and all the other identical ESC brands, tells with very little doubt, that the Hacker X-Pro, Hyperion Titan, Apache, Pilotage Nova-Line, and LiPolice ESC's are also manufactured by Sunray Technology.
Also, the LiPolice and Apache ESC program cards are almost identical to Common-Sense-RC, Gens Ace and OK Hobby Infinite program cards -telling us that all these ESC's all have the same manufacturer -which is Sunray Technology.

Because Hacker X-Pro, Hyperion Titan, Apache, Pilotage Nova-Line and LiPolice ESC's are identical for programming, this does suggest that the Apache and the LiPolice ESC program cards might well work for being able to program this whole group of ESC's. The Hacker X-Pro, Hyperion Titan, and Pilotage Nova-Line do not have program cards available for them (these particular re-branders never provided a program card for their ESC's) and so this may provide an easy way of programming Hacker X-Pro, Hyperion Titan, and Pilotage Nova-Line ESC's -if one does not wish to use the simple Tx stick method, or does not want toresort to the PC-interface programming method that Hacker and Hyperion supply for their ESC's.
