I would only be doing basic or the next up. I actually have never flown in a contest.
Guess I am a precision sport flyer! :-)

I read the tread on the Dinogy (sp) and they seem
reasonable... What else should I be looking for?

Thank you again for the help.

What class are you flying? I can get through the Advanced sequence with power to spare using 4400 packs. I'm running the 30C Dinogy 4400 packs this season. So far I like them a bunch. But it all comes down to throttle management. i have a friend who flies FAI and he uses 4400 packs most of the time. For the F sequence he sometimes uses a 40C 4400 or a 5000 pack. But in general the 4400 works fine for him.

You are really not going to need 5,000 packs unless you need the weight.
