This type of Flap-Spoiler is so effective that only about 12-15 square inch area is needed oneach panel. Many years ago I built an Arrow that sported these and it could be slowed way down. The area split I used was 60% flap-40% spoiler for zero pitch, way back then. This device has a place in today models.....perhaps on my next wing....
