I don't want anything other than lots of time flying my airplanes. Hacker motors have a reputation of quality, which I am experiencing myself. Turnigy motors do not, so therefore I wonder what drives these reputations? If Hackers have a tendency to run hard and last a long time, and Turnigy motors have a tendency to work for shorter lengths of time, it would seem that the Hacker is a 'higher quality' part. That's all.
I am actually considering a Turnigy motor for my next motor purchase. It is not likely I will go that route, but I will give it condsideration. It depends on what my end goal is. If i want the least expensive way to fly a plane, I will look at a Turnigy. If I want to invest in the best equipment for my plane and expect immediate support if/when something ever goes wrong, I will opt for the company that has a reputation of delivering quality components and first class customer service. The vendor of Turnigy motors has neither.
Your consideration is perfectly correct.
You are SURE free to follow what you think,
and choosing your motors like you want.
Like other peoples are perfectly free to get a bit of brain before buy,
and get best chose for them .
IMO:
Personally I prefer to know what I buy and pay the right price ,
and the info I read here, let me to know .
