Hi I bought the Robart eletric actuator sold mostly as a replacement and or unit for tail wheel conversion from air to eletric.
Ok , this is my problem , I assumed it was a self contained forward /reverse linear servo.
Well surprise surprise , its nothing more them a unit that has no ebridge for forward reverse movement so I assume it needs to be used with the control board that the main units from Robart have to be used with.

So my question is two part , 1) is my assumption correct and 2) is there an easy solution outside of the $100 control unit sold by Robart ?

My goal was to use the unit as a compact linear servos for a canopy , looks like that idea is out the window .
