Hi, can anyone point me to any pictures of gas motor silent/anti vibe mounts made into a fully molded f3a fuselage , I have a few ideas but as always there is no point in reinventing the wheel.
To explain a little I am in the process of restoring a ZN Line Majestic which was set up with a HACKER motor, the thought of limited flight times and cost of multiple sets of batteries has led me to compare the usually power plant the YS 160\170 and the new DLE 35RA . The weight of the motors is very near and from personal experience in a sport airframe the DLE unpiped can drive a 19*11 mezjlik at 7200 with ease so power seems very close. Plenty of options for a quite exhaust system exist and as I can sell the second hand hacker for a new DLE this experiment won't hurt the pocket.
Now with all the repairs on the airframe I don't see it reaching a competition weight limit but it should sure be a fun aeroplane to fly and practice pattern with.
Any pointers would be gratefully received.
