My techno wizardry is beyond description sometimes but thanks for the tips. Anyway,I wanted to pass on some details with cockpit combing and crash pads. I use old wallet leather and even recycled some USAAF WWII Sheepskin Fight Jacket Welting on my Ryan YPT-16. The orig stitching although not very scale even served well.

As a note of possible interest - the civ ST's only had crash pads from what I've seen form orig photos. The military installed crashpads complete with cockpit combing and the PT-20's even had turnover masts poking up through the front windscreen.
